Because there are better things they can spend their fairly small amount of manpower on, like finishing WoC (and finding bugs there rather than obscure places), bringing about the promised HM changes and some class buffs.

Holy shit.
Because there wasn't a skill update in september and it seems that there won't be any in october neither probably.... Their point is getting boring but understandable though...the closest we get to GW2 is like the least chance to have any update anymore...

What's the point of these bug fixes anyway....the official forum should have been about all game problems instead of bugs reporting only

I just got one of the fixed char shields--much better with the fix (thanks Dark Morelia for working that out for them).

if you are waiting for a skill update---remember its halloween--new quests for that and costumes and masks, then we get into the holiday season of wintersday--with yes, more possible costumes and hats (would hope a new quest???)---not to mention peeps take time off around holidays, so short staffing too....so I wouldnt be holding my breath for any of those types of updates until after wintersday. (and I believe they said ele would be before ranger anyways with the fixes...so it twill be quite some time if the amount of time it took for the dervish update is any indication)

I'm sure the guys fixing costume and shield bugs are the same people who are responsible for the ranger/ele/para update. Yep.

Halloween is coming. Screw skill updates, I'm hoping for new content (specifically a continuation of last year's quests). Skill updates can wait.

Whining daily for months about Mesmers and Dervishes actually got results so there are at least two great precedents reinforcing the behavior.

Yay! Hope we won't end again in the loop "this bug fix causes them working during kd and fixing that one causes this one again etc"

Nice, even if when reading "bonus in Ruins of Surmia" I really hoped they had fixed the bugs that prevent bonus completion...

I feel bad for those who discovered this bug...

I'm pretty happy with bugfixes.. I rather dislike bugs, and the less there are, the better. Some of those are pretty important bugs. A game should be polished, not just additional content. Crash bugs in particular are extremely frustrating, even if rare. I'm extremely happy to see them fixing the bugs reported on the support forum, and typically fairly fast, too.

Other content will get worked on, it'll be fine. Don't pressure them to rush it <_> I like bug-free gameplay. If I enjoyed bugs I'd be playing games from EA.

If they're periodically churning out bug fixes here and there then why is the desync "stuck" bug always overlooked?

"Someone" has to pay the devs money to do their job. That "someone" are the people who have purchased the game or something from the online store within the last few years. Nothing is free in life, those who tell you otherwise want you to get in their unmarked van.

If only they'd remove the useless charslaying mod...

If there's a bug I'd really like to get fixed, it's Dancing Daggers:

"Follow the Flame Keepers at a distance to gain entrance to the Flame Temple. Extinguish the Flame Temple once inside."
This is still wrong, since you are supposed to follow the Ember Bearers and defeat the Flame Keepers, but is better than the previous one.
Now more people will probably follow them instead just killing them.

I'm very happy to see the Charrslayer shield fix.
Given how fast it came about after my texmod fix, I don't think I had anything to do with it. They probably already had it fixed from the earlier report on the bug forum.
But I'm happy to see it fixed all the same

It's probably a significantly more difficult bug fix than the others. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure if it is fixable. Doesn't WoW avoid this issue by just not having collision? I think it's more of a network issue than anything else, and that's going to be difficult to resolve.

... and then the game will most likely glitch, the Bearers will get stuck into some invisibile obstacle on their path to the gate, the gate won't open, and more people will have to start over

People reported on the support forums what you had found with the channels being mixed up on the shield (https://forum.guildwars.com/forum/fo...-Shield/page/1). That then told Arenanet *exactly* what they needed to do to fix it - hence it made it into the next update they did since it was a very easy fix.

So yes, you had everything to do with it! It would have continued to languish in the bug tracker (with all the other odd texture/clipping issues) without your details as to what was actually needed to fix it.
